Throughout the year there are
various events at Loomer Road Stadium.

AMATEUR SPEEDWAY
RACING. 14/02/10
POSTPONED
It gives us great pleasure to
announce that Stoke Speedway will be holding their first amateur
meeting for 2010 on Sunday the 14th of February, from
12.00 – 15.30.
The format for the event will be the
normal three classes i.e. Open class- for riders around the
conference league level, Novice class- for riders who are from
complete beginners to those who can normally get a full slide
on, and Intermediate class- for those who are somewhere between
the two.
Youth classes will run depending on
entries received.
The cost for the meeting will be £35
(£25 for under 15s) and free to spectators.
Naturally there will be the
ambulance and paramedics in attendance and the full café and bar
facilities will be in action.
Each rider will be programmed for
five rides, with the three highest point’s scorers taking the
trophies in each class. Should there be riders in the top three
finishing on equal points a run off will decide the final
result. There will also be a trophy fore the person judged to be
the “rider of the meeting” in each class.
Helmet colours will be required but
can be borrowed (with advanced notice) and dirt deflectors are
required for all but the novice class.
A limited number of hire bikes will
be available at a cost of entering the meeting being £120 for
500cc and £100 for 125cc youth. These will only be available to
those who have ridden before.
Full spares, fuel/ oil etc will be
available from the track.
The event will take place here at
the Loomer Road Stadium.

hire bikes).
The deposit can be in the form of a
cheque/postal order made payable to Crewsline ltd. The address

Anyone travelling long distance is
welcome to camp over at the track the night before and shower/
toilets/ water facilities can be made available, please indicate
that you are planning to stop over when booking in.
Note there will also be an open
practice the Sunday beforehand (07/02/2010) at the normal times
of 12.00- 15.30.
